If you wanna know the photographers that inspire, lately they have been Ben Blood, Elizabeth Messina, Sean Flanigan, I love the simple way they photograph, love... The thing with inspiration though is that it makes you excited about creating images for yourself, making them your own, being true to yourself. I have my style, it's natural and romantic and as an artist I draw inspiration from other artists, people like these photographers and I hope I in turn inspire others. Seeing their images makes me excited about going out and looking for the simplicity in my weddings, it makes me feel :) Locally of course I'm lucky to have a best friend who inspires me every day, Jen from Anna Rose. I can't tell you how amazing it is to have an incredibly talented friend you can share ideas, brain storm, discuss the matters of life with. I feel I'm a better artist knowing her and hope I do the same for her :) And then recently my new second shooter, Teneil, who pushes me at locations to do the things I'm thinking about doing but may not have done if she hadn't of said simply "do it".
I'm incredibly tired today from working at this gorgeous wedding yesterday so I'm not sure I'm making sense, but what I'm trying to say is thank you to those that inspire me, you make me excited about getting out there and being true to myself.
Angie and Lach's wedding was so HOT! 4 things about this wedding that were amazing were: They are incredibly nice and gorgeous! They got married at the chapel Lach's dad designed, they picked the location they wanted to have photos at (an old shop front in Mosman Park, you wouldn't think anything of it really but they loved it and I in turn loved it because they loved it) and the details at the reception were immaculate right down to the chandelier that hung in the marquee that they bought together in Paris. They were completely true to themselves and involved things that inspired them and they loved. I loved that. Thanks Angie and Lachlan, your wedding was inspirational!
