My photography is honest and documentary style. I’m there to tell the story of your relationship and document the day as it was as creatively as possible. I’m not just there to take pretty pictures but tell a story, the story that is uniquely yours.
For information on packages, pricelists and availability please send me an enquiry together with your wedding date and please don’t forget to mention how you heard about me:) Bookings tend to be made 6-12 months in advance and popular dates book fast, so if you are interested as soon as possible is the best.

Frequently asked questions
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I do! I believe you should be able to choose the photographer you want to be there for you on the day, the one who can capture your day the best. You don’t have to go for a local one, you can look around, if you don’t you’ll regret it later, they are the one vendor you hire you are going to spend the most time with so it has to be someone you feel comfortable with and can add to your day in a positive way. I travel a lot in the South West and love it. Please let me know if you are interested in coverage nationally or internationally.
At what time do you arrive for the pre wedding portraits and at what time should we be ready? Also do you cover the grooms preparation?
For the pre wedding portraits I like to arrive 1.5 hours before the bride leaves for the ceremony. It usually helps if the brides maids are ready at this time so they can be photographed individually before the bride gets dressed. It would also be great if the details such as the rings, flowers, perfume, shoes and the dress could be placed together in a well lit room so I don’t have to find them and have to come back each time and ask you for the next. I don’t usually cover the grooms preparation, I used to but find that the boys have to get ready way too early and some don’t like it, so I make some time about 10 minutes before the ceremony starts to capture some details of the boys. This really works well. If you do find that you would like to have the grooms preparation covered this is available at an extra charge.
How long do you stay at the reception?
Coverage finishes with the entry to your reception. If you wish for me to stay an hourly rate of $250 per hour is payable. Feeding me would also be appreciated:) For reception coverage candid photography of guests only is offered.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I have 2 Canon 5d bodies and one 5d Mark II and a series of high quality Canon lenses, I love the sharpness of them and over the years have found they are the best. All images are shot RAW and then converted into high resolution jpegs for you, for this reason I carry around 60 GB of memory with me at each wedding.
How long till we see our pictures?
Post production takes about 5 weeks depending on my work load.
Do you offer engagement portraits?
I do offer engagement portraits, these are usually booked about a month before your wedding and its a great way for us to get to know each other. The cost is $500 and the results are emailed to you in proof form approximately a week after the sitting. I love doing engagement portraits, they are a lot of fun, they are a great way to get to know eachother and provide you with some memories of a very exciting time in your lives :)
What happens with our album if we’ve chosen one in our collection?
For the album design, I will give you 3 months to provide me with a list of favourites to be included in your album. From there I will make a design for you which you will be able to see a preview of, you are able to make 2 rounds of minor changes before a change fee kicks in. Once you are happy with the design just send me an email and confirm in writing and I’ll go ahead with the order. Albums once ordered take between 4-6 to manufacture and you’ll be notified via email as soon as it arrives in the studio.
When do you require payment?
A retainer of $900 together with a signed contract is needed to secure your booking. The retainer comes off your final balance due 4 weeks before the wedding. Any travel expenses that may be required for me to be there have to be paid together with the retainer.
Do you have insurance?
Yes
What if something happens to you and you can’t be there on our day?
My work means the world to me so there would have to be something completely wrong for me not to turn up on your day, other than if I were dead in which case I would definitely not be there. I am part of a professional networking group I would call upon to help you find a replacement.
